With COVID case numbers increasing in Redfern and Waterloo, it’s important to get vaccinated. Getting vaccination rates up is the best way to keep our community safe and prevent tighter restrictions in these suburbs.

The good news is, there is a new walk-in Pfizer vaccination hub open now at NCIE, 166-180 George Street, Redfern. No appointment is needed, you can walk right on in. The hub is open 10am-4pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout September and October.

Anyone who is currently eligibly for Pfizer can walk in and get their first dose. That is:

• Anyone aged 16-59
• Anyone aged over 59 and currently living in public housing (there will be a doctor on site to assess suitability)
• Anyone aged 12-15 with an underlying health issue and approval by a doctor
• Any Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person aged 12 and over.
