Time: 10:00 am
Following the launch of the Emergency Preparedness Handbook for people living in social housing at Northcott Community Centre in June, the City of Sydney Council and partners are inviting residents to attend an online ‘Get Prepared’ information session in lieu of any face-to-face workshops currently.
Emergencies can happen at any time, and often when we least expect. Floods, storms, fires and heatwaves can damage your home and force you to leave for a period of time. Such events are disruptive, yet we can reduce the stress and hardship that follows by taking some simple steps now.
Join the Australian Red Cross and NSW State Emergency Services to learn about how you can be better prepared for emergencies, and what resources are available to help you develop your own emergency plan.
Register in advance for this session:
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
