Developing and supporting a strong and diverse community aged care sector in our region.
Inner Sydney Voice is funded by the Australian Government to provide sector support and development for Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) providers across Eastern Sydney and beyond. We work with organisations delivering care and support to thousands of older people, helping the sector respond to ongoing aged care reforms and changing community needs.
Our CHSP Sector Support and Development program primarily supports providers in the City of Sydney, Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick and the former Botany Council area of Bayside. We also collaborate with sector support organisations and government partners to strengthen the CHSP provider market across New South Wales.
We support the sector by:
- Promoting and advocating for the value of CHSP services and aged care reform initiatives.
- Assisting providers to navigate and prepare for aged care reforms.
- Facilitating collaboration, networking and the sharing of best practice.
- Supporting implementation of program and aged care initiatives.
- Identifying and coordinating relevant training and professional development opportunities.
- Researching and communicating emerging issues and sector trends to government and key stakeholders.
- Developing resources and promotional materials that highlight CHSP services and their impact.
