This NAIDOC Week, we celebrate the theme “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy.” From footy games and cultural festivals to exhibitions and community days, there are countless opportunities to honour culture, connection and Country.

Welcome to Country & Fireworks
Location: Cockle Bay Green, Darling Harbour
Date: Saturday 5 & Saturday 12 July
Time: 7:00pm Smoking Ceremony, 8:30pm Fireworks
Start or close NAIDOC Week with a powerful cultural welcome led by Elders, followed by fireworks over the harbour.

Solid Ground NAIDOC Exhibition
Location: Carriageworks
Date: 26 June – 13 July
Cost: Free
Emerging First Nations high school artists explore identity and legacy through new work, marking 10 years of the Solid Ground program.

Australian Dance Theatre – Marrow

Daniel Riley’s striking dance work blends light, smoke and movement in a reflection on cultural memory.

On the Road to Justice: Remembering the Freedom Ride
Location: 186-194 Glebe Point Rd, Glebe NSW

This moving exhibition marks 60 years since the 1965 Freedom Ride, with rarely seen photographs and contemporary portraits.

Redfern All Blacks NAIDOC Celebration
Location: Redfern Oval
Date: Sunday 6 July
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Cost: Free
A day of footy, family and community. There will be games, art displays, a photo booth, face painting, BBQ and a catered lunch for Elders and Life Members. Celebrate the legacy of one of Australia’s oldest Aboriginal footy clubs.
Souths Cares NAIDOC Festival
Location: Heffron Park, 417–439 Bunnerong Road, Maroubra
Date: Tuesday 8 July
Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm
Cost: Free
Hosted by Souths Cares and the South Sydney Rabbitohs, this vibrant community event includes cultural workshops, performances, amusement rides, food, and footy clinics. Proudly supported by Randwick City Council.
EORA NAIDOC Inner City Family Fun Day
Location: Carriageworks 245 Wilson St, Eveleigh NSW 2015
Date: Thursday 10 July
Time: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Cost: Free
Inner City NAIDOC Family Fun Day is organised by the Eora NAIDOC Community Group this event will feature performers of Aboriginal Dancers, Singer Songwriters, Musicians, Bands, Elders Space, Jarjum Activities, BBQ Lunch and more!

NAIDOC on the Green – Woollahra Council
Location: Woollahra Council, 536 New South Head Road, Double Bay

Cost: Free
Celebrate culture and community with live music, dance and storytelling outdoors. Featuring:
- Gamay Dance Workshop (open to all ages)
- Traditional Yidaki & Clapsticks performance by Gumaroy
- Live reggae by The Green Hand Band, led by Tim Gray (Gumbaynggirr / Wiradjuri)
Light refreshments provided. BYO picnic blanket, food and drinks. All welcome.
