Our latest CAFS Learning Series session brought together sector workers for a practical discussion about making DEX easier, more useful and more meaningful.
Led by Lisa Smajlov from FAMs, widely known across the sector as the “DEX therapist”, the session explored how organisations can improve the quality of the data they collect and use it to better communicate the impact of their work.
Lisa shared practical strategies for streamlining DEX processes, strengthening reporting practices and moving beyond outputs to tell a clearer story about outcomes for children and families. The session also looked at how high-quality data can support stronger advocacy for early intervention and help organisations demonstrate the need for sustainable funding.
The recording is relevant to staff at all levels, from those who are new to DEX to experienced users looking for ways to make their systems more efficient and effective.
