Local CHSP providers in Central and Eastern Sydney are invited to apply for a one-off grant through the CHSP Reform Readiness and Innovation Fund; a brokerage project designed to build capacity, support innovation, and prepare the sector for upcoming aged care reforms.
Delivered by The Junction Neighbourhood Centre (JNC) and Inner Sydney Voice, this initiative is part of a Commonwealth-funded strategy to strengthen and support the CHSP sector across the region. A total pool of up to $220,000 is available, with individual grants ranging from $10,000 to $30,000.
This is an opportunity for small to medium-sized CHSP providers to access practical support for projects that build reform readiness and enhance long-term sustainability. Applications are now open and will close COB 17 June 2025.
What Is the Fund For?
The CHSP Reform Readiness and Innovation Fund has been established to:
- Provide resources that enable services to be reform ready
- Support the development of innovative community aged care service models
- Strengthen operational systems and business models to ensure sustainability in a changing aged care landscape
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- A funded CHSP provider operating in Central or Eastern Sydney
- A small to medium-sized organisation (with an annual turnover of under $10 million)
- Intending to continue delivering CHSP services beyond this financial year
Priority Areas
Expressions of Interest should align with one or more of the following areas:
- Evidence building
- Technology and digital development
- Compliance
- Viability and sustainability
- Workforce development
- Building customer base and loyalty
- Inter and cross-sector collaboration
What’s Required?
- Read the guidelines found here
- Complete the online Expression of Interest form by 5PM, 17th June 2025
- Use the budget and project plan templates found here
- If successful, sign an agreement and invoice the project by 30 June 2025
- Participate in a post-project workshop and submit a short final report
