The first CAFS Learning Series session brought services together to share early learnings and questions about delivering CAFS locally, hear a government perspective (with Cecily from Department of Communities and Justice (NSW)), and ground the discussion in a practical data/stats snapshot. A key theme was making space for both program delivery realities and the reporting/compliance side, and using the series to strengthen connections across the region.

A quick “connection session” / service snapshots: 2 minutes each for services to introduce what they run

More interaction + occasional special guest speakers
A clearer split of content for frontline staff vs managers (different needs/issues)
Practical reminders of due dates and upcoming reporting milestones
