Hello Sector!
Inner Sydney Voice has remained true to its purpose despite constant external change and challenge. That commitment is what makes ISV such a special organisation.
After nearly four years leading this iconic organisation, I will be stepping away from the Executive Officer role. As you may know, Zakumi Consulting (Gary Jacobson and I) were initially engaged for a short period to rebuild the organisation. That short period grew into years of community work, sector development and relationships we deeply value.
It has been a privilege to help shape a solid strategy, engage talented and passionate people, support a values‑driven Board, and build on ISV’s rich legacy of community action. I am humbled to have shared this role with sector dynamos such as Margaret Barry, Faye Williams and the inaugural EO Colin Menzies.
My work is not done. Over the coming months, I will be supporting the Board as they lead the search for the next Executive Officer and focus on ensuring all our planned activities meet expectations. Please reach out if you have any ideas, concerns or just want to have a chat.
