Summer Streets on Redfern Street

January 19, 2022•1 Minute

Join Redfern residents for a day of street-side eating and drinking, special offers and more. Redfern Street will transform into a relaxed and convivial pedestrian-only zone for one day only. The area will be closed to traffic from 11am between Regent Street and Chalmers Street. Groove the afternoon away to live music from The Pre-Loved, First Nations ensemble Yulugi, and the King Street Brass Band. Kids will love the giant bubble performers and frill-neck lizards. And after the sun sets, you’ll be enchanted by fire performers and LED dancers. This event is being held to help support local businesses and to provide more outdoor entertainment for residents.
