Gain the confidence to respond in an emergency situation by developing your basic first aid skills. You will be equipped with the knowledge to provide first aid response, life support and management of a casualty at an accident until qualified emergency help arrives. The skills are suitable for those who want to gain the skills for use in the community and home.
The course is free and open to job-seekers or the unemployed; those on an age pension, disability support pension or youth allowance; and anyone aged 17-24 (not currently enrolled in a Smart & Skilled course).
